Why Memories of Sharath Jois?

The Ashtanga tradition is rich with history and personal stories that span generations. Sharath Jois was at the heart of this evolution, carrying forward the teachings of his grandfather, Pattabhi Jois, Manju, his uncle, and his mother, Saraswati. As the central figurehead of the Ashtanga community, Sharath’s influence reached far and wide, creating an incredible impact on students, teachers, and fellow practitioners.

Why We’re Remembering Sharath Jois
